I live in NZ and its pretty hard to get any slide wheels other then sector 9 which are priced at $120!! rip!! and at the end of October im getting some super balls but i was just wondering what peoples opinion's were on Gravity street sliders?? because i just got some and will be in my hands within the next couple of weeks, so yeah..
I' ve not actually ridden that wheel, but can't think of any reason not to ride them if you have them. Other than I prefere a slightly smaller wheel. Better to be skating something less than perfect than waiting for it.
What duro did you get?
It will depend on how good you are at sliding. I used the 90a when I first started sliding and they were alright for learning but as I got a little bit better I found them slow and didn't hold the slide for that long.
If you get desperate for wheels just pop into cheapskates and grab some standard spitfire wheels. They work pretty well while you wait for new wheels to come in.
I would also suggest getting two sets of slide wheels when you order as well just in-case you flatspot one and then you don't have to ride crap wheels until you get new ones in.
On another point there will be some dedicated slide stuff for you to win at the Jaffa Roll so get out sliding.
Yeah bro cheers, Nacho from best boards is bringing back the super balls from the philipains for me, and yeah ill be at the jaffa roll. Aiming for the slide comp really.
I had/ve a flatspotted set. They were my first slide wheel, and are okay, but if you have the choice, go smaller. Just shell out the money for Slide a's if you can.

while wearing a piece of plastic and foam on your head of course.
Just be sure to rotate them, or you'll be trying to slide rectangles like me.

If you want to buy some gravity slide wheels buy the sergio yuppie sliders, much better than the street sliders. Although the best option is to just wait for your superballs, they are the best out there.
I have the 97a and they're pretty great for an all around wheel i think. They slide pretty well when you want but i can still do reasonably intense carving without them breaking free.
Thanks for all your comments. I got the Gravity's and they are doing the job, moves like 360, toe side penge, coleman, rewinds etc... all work well. Still really looking forward to the superballs!! thanks guys/.
