Default In need of new sliding / pumping wheels

Okay so I have literally turned my Flashies into ice-cream cones so I need new wheels. I'm looking for some nice wheels that I can pump around in and slide on thats it, and ones that aren't going to wear out in a month...I'm poor so durability is like a huge factor. Any suggestions?

to quote wells "nagahapan"

pumping needs LOTS of grip, sliding needs lots of slip. i've tried pumping on a slide setup before, which resulted in me facedown on the asphalt. for what it's worth...get 2 sets of wheels, zigs or something for pump, and noskoolz/earthwing sliders/shortboard wheels for sliding

I'm guessing you're after grippy wheels that can do basic slides and if you were satisfied with the Flashbacks buy them again only in a harder duro. Or maybe the Grippins which are centre set allowing you to turn them avoiding coning.

I've already got Zigs on my bustin but I want a nice all around wheel for my EW superGlider. SOunds like I might have to invest in a pair of Flashies but they coned like crazy and they are the only things I have right now for that board so I might go with Grippins. Never hurts to try.

grippens are perfect for pumping, and on a longer board, they can speed check predictably. However, speed checks are different than straight up sliding. You can slide grippens but expect to slide to stop, not slow down. If you want a slide/pump hybrid you're going to have to compromise for both styles.

Ya can't have both in one wheel. So have two wheels.

For pumping I'd suggest some Lime Zigs and for sliding Slide A's.

Grip and slip, those wheels are perfect.

That's like saying you want to highspeed downhill, mini cruiser. They are two opposing setups. Haha

another great middle ground pump + slider wheel are Bennett 71mm's in green or orange. not sure how fast they'd burn up because i don't slide all the time. but really predictable release and hook up.

grippins in a harder duro should be ok as long as you arent doing tech sliding. They're centerset so you can flip them when they start to cone.

for pumping get some 3DM's
if you radius the edges then they can do basic slides but still have good grip
