I don't think Gesmar would ever try the bungee thing. He might risk breaking a nail.

    Dan,
Thanks alot for stepping up and continuing to be a driving force in slalom, longboarding, downhill, and overall skating enjoyment. ......I'm not sure why any guy would make comments about another guy's nails??????

Thanks Dan, don't mind the gnat on the windshield.

Are y'all serious about a bungee start for Giant Slalom?
Just because you can take a naked picture of yourself doesn't necessarily mean you should.

You thought going down a start ramp was scary, a bungee start on this hill will be WAY fast! There will be blood on the pavement, for sure!
Don't really care about the number of post I have or reps.

We gave it all we had to pull off the best event possible and hope that those who were there had a great time! We are happy that no one got seriously injured. The biggest bummer is the news about the keyed cars (read post below)

Good luck to all the racers headed to Hood River for the Worlds, and even better luck to those running it as well We are rooting for ya!

It has just come to our attention that 3 cars were keyed on the driver's side during Sunday's GS event. These cars were parked legally, behind the road closure barricades on 120th (a street we did not have permits for). The people who had permission to park there were reporters, city officials, official photographers and police. We heard directly from one of the victims that he heard some riders complaining that the cars were parked there because they wanted to use that lane as a runout which was not needed OR permitted. If you have any information please contact us directly at racerx@coloradoskateschool.com We are more than bummed out about this and are hoping that no official racers were involved in this incident. thanks for your help

    Hey,

I'm new here since going to check out the Nationals this past weekend. It was a blast to see all the riders kicking asphalt out there. It looks like my 6yo son Kai and I may end up getting boards once money is found for the equipement.

I would like to thank Richie Rich for setting up the "kids course" to allow more people to try it out. Kai was so stoked afterwards that he asked " dadda, can we get some cones?"
Well, if he does get into it there is no way that I will stand on the sidelines to watch.

Anyway, I shot a short vid of Kai with my phone camera and would like to post the link for you all to enjoy.

Also a big thanks to the Mitchells and all the sponsors for setting this up.

    Aloha,
    Ink

Just out of interest, how do you work out the overall? The guy with a 2nd and a 3rd is tied with someone with two wins? I don't quite get that.
