Default Airflow Decks in the USA?

Thought this might be the best place to post this question.

Is there any place in the states that carries Airflow decks, or similar(Fibertec, Pumpkin, etc)?

I think those decks look way fun for around campus cruising and ped slalom. I did a bit of searching the web myself, but all the online retailers were Europe based.

I guess though, if there is a shop in the USA that carries airflow trucks I might could get them to order a deck for me. I just don't feel like ordering overseas if i don't have to.

    Any tips?

    Thanks brethren.

    bho,

Seismic tried to import those Euro boards for a while but gave it up. Since then there's been no USA distributor.

Contact Chris directly for Airflow. They are pretty good about intercontinental delivery.

Also, this might be a little bit convoluted and out of place BUT Sk8kings is the USA distributor for Airflow TRUCKS. Talk to Maria and see what she can do about getting a board. It's obvious she stays in touch with Chris and those guys.

Thanks Parallel Man (its wes, right?). I'll look into those contacts, thats good info.

Way off topic, but I see that you are located in the SC lowcountry. I'm looking to move to charleston after this year. Is there much of a slalom scene down there?

You can't always write a chord ugly enough to say what you want to say, so sometimes you have to rely on a giraffe filled with whipped cream.

Well, I need to update this profile. I left Summerville last fall and moved back to Columbia.

    BUT

I can tell you the slalom scene in the Lowcountry was ME. That's it. There are TWO other skaters who slalom in South Carolina. One is Tom Edenton here in Columbia ("Scabus Maximus" on SL) and Jamie Summer up in Union gave it a go back in '06 but he's strictly a longboarder/downhiller. (He posts quite a bit in the SOUTH CAROLINA topic in the regions forum.)

Sorry to disappoint. What I can tell you is when you get to town be sure to check out the Bus Terminal at the Visitor's Center downtown on John Street. It has the most incredible skating surface. It's completely FLAT but the surface on it is so great it's almost like skating downhill.

My father is still in Summerville and my brother is West Ashley so I get down that way occasionally.
