This has been the summer for new-comers. Lots of 'em showin up outa nowhere and blowing everybody away. Maybe you'll be the big surprise at SFCF '09!

You are going to have blast it's more of a hang out and skate sort of thing instead of a contest. The best kind of event in my mind.

Yeah. It's just like a great big skate session. It's quite addictive. Great atmosphere. I know many skaters that enjoy the contests for the social aspect maybe more than the skating aspect. All I know it is fun.

My first two slalom races were the chicago cone crusher and the texas sizzler, both earlier this year. This race will be my third, and then I'm hosting one the week after! Congratulations slalomers, you've got me hooked

I'm pleased to report that my friend Daniel will also be coming for his first-ever slalom race! We'll be practicing running through the cones quite a bit before we come, so hopefully we can make a respectable showing. OR maybe we'll get the bottom two spots. Either way, it's going to be a blast!

I'll be coming with Tagsrover and 3 other guys will probably be making it down. I would love to get my hands on one of those adjustable wheelbase STDs, how much would it cost do you think?

Making the road trip from MN. I am taking the scenic route and plan to add a couple of vacation days on both sides of the trip. Need to get back by Tuesday because we are also planning to go to the Bethel College-Indiana contest on Friday the 25th. Looking forward to the 2nd day of racin' this year at the Cone Fest. I was only there on Fri/Sat last year.

This should be the biggest Cone Fest yet and looking at the sign up....it may be the hardest to win too.
I can't wait. I need a good race and this years race may be great!

I had the exact OPPOSITE Saturday morning! Beautiful, cool, sunny, breezy. I met up with Mike A - some of you that come to the Wiggle War know him - over in his town. Nice new asphalt on a hill on a dead-end road. We set out the cones and killed it for a couple hours. The wind was blowing straight down hill, so we were crazy flying through the cones. I got home, told my wife about it, and she's like, "So you going back next week?"

I didn't think I was ever gonna stop smiling. But now here it is Monday morning and I have to go to work. How's that for buzz kill?

That is sweet looking Now all you have to do is pave one of those hills in the pictures and it will be perfect

We're all going to Gary's house after the Cone Fest and building a ramp. both indoor and outdoor. You got the yard for it. Just have the wood waiting for us.
