    Default Sad Day

    Andy Kessler was for years a bad boy NYC skater - died the other day while surfing in the Hamptons. This is a tragic story and saddens me greatly. I have not spoken or been riding with Andy for years (maybe 1983 or so was the last I rode with him). I was looking forward to visiting him and one of the 1/2 dozen or so skate parks he helped build in NY most recently. A mutual old friend, Liam, contacted me to let me know. Andy was a troubled youth and was a kick-ass street and park skater. He was the kind of skater that could skate ANYTHING. Damn shame...
