Hazah!!!!

They paved my slalom hill this week. Brand new asphalt from one end to the other. Butter smooth and fast fast FAST. It is open to traffic and a few cars came by. All were heading up the hill. All in all I had a better session today that I thought I would. If I had known about the new asphalt I would have brought my camera. This will now be a great road for a contest. Perfect surface Two different hills to choose from for setting up courses. Each faces the other so you have an up hill run out. There are no homes or businesses or anything on the road. So that should make it easier to get the road closed off. Man I am stoked on this turn of events.

It starts with a nice gentle downhill slope for a good long stretch and then goes into a steep downhill section and then after you hit the bottom it goes uphill again.

One way you get a nice long run great for hybrid with an almost GS finish. You can do some great tight courses on the top section too. You can get a head wind on this side sometimes.

The other way you have just a nice downhill pitch. Shorter than the other side. Still quick. Good for fast tight courses and hybrid. A good alternative when the head wind is up on the other side.

It was always a great hill and now it's even better.

So a Louisville outlaw in the work for this summer? I can't speak definitively for others, of course, but I'd say we can likely bring the ramps, timer and cones (if needed).

I thinking of maybe more than an outlaw race. I might try to go legit and do a real race. Get the road shut down and everything. I'm afraid an outlaw might get shut down.
And yeah....I'll need to borrow your ramps and timers.
Maybe shoot for June. Have the Kentucky Cooker. 'Cause it's going to be HOT!
I need to start working on this I guess. Maybe try for a GS race on another hill. Long Run would be nice.
