Man you cats are wiiiiild. Dan got a really sweet fluid run in, very relaxing to watch, he totally looks like he's in control of his skateboard. Rich's skating is kinda like a cheap corner store firework; you light it and you're not really sure if its a dud or not and then all of a sudden it explodes and people get burned and its on the evening news. That slide out was good too, sometime near bails are more tense then real ones, just watching a little chirp can give me anxiety pangs. And mig man, your skating always leaves me a little speechless. Holy crap, Julie's skating has improved by leaps and bounds too! Right on guys! Where abouts in QC is that run, you have to show me it when I'm in the neighborhood.

Hey Mig - how's it going? Its Brian here from the Ball Mt. Dam race in Vermont. Nice to see some videos, thanks for posting. You guys all look like you're skating great. I go to Quebec City in February, I should take apart a slalom board, pack it up and meet with you guys! Look forward to racing with you all again next season. Take it easy.

Hey Scooter, me and a few guys are gonna be running some cones on Sunday at a parking garage here in Joisey, not too far away from you. If you want to join us shoot me a pm and I can give you directions.

You know of any parking garages or other indoor spots we could possibly run cones? Part of the trip is that we're going skiing (or snowboarding... but I ski) at Mt. St. Anne for one day. You snowboard?

The second and fourth vid didn't work for me (my computer hates quicktime for some reason) but the first and third one were awesome!

Do you guys up north sand your roads? Here in New England it's customary that the towns plow the streets after a snowfall, but they also lay down layers of sand to increase traction. What happens is ANY car that is driven on these roads picks up the sand in the wheels, wheel wells, and all over the frame. Cars then drive into parking garages and dump the sand all over. Your garages don't seem to be sandy at all, while we have none we can skate in here in Hartford. What's the deal? Do you guys sweep everytime you go? Let me know, I'm itchin for some cones

thanks man, I just copy and paste the link out of my ftp client and sometimes I forget to delete those directory listings.
That garage is a bit of a skurf crown jewel. It was discovered by our eldest rider and its a sealed off car-dealership lot. Its only used to store BRAND NEW cars. Naturally the stakes are high if you bail into one so we have to be carefull, but its usually always clean and dry.
the other garage we run cones in is underground several levels so it usually doesn't track dirt all the way down to the bottom (where we skate).
I should also not that Toronto is having UNSEASONABLY warm weather this winter, and there has been alot less snow and therefore less salt!

yea the salt is horrible this year, my town must of gotten a good deal or something because we have so much. last week when it was ~50 there was a pile of salt TWO INCHES deep at teh bottom of a hill near my house.
