Default Cyber Slalom Times

I thought it would be nice to have a thread of cyber times on here. I know there is on NCDSA, but since you have to use your real name and whatnot, I thought it would be easier here since we are so used to everyone's user names.

Instead of just doing a bunch of reposts as you get better, can we just edit our original post instead?

Heres my time: 10.381

Ive only been running cyber like 2 times a week for about a month, so its still pretty new to me.

Same here, Tyler. I've been at it about the same amount of time as you.

My best - 10.84

Man, was I proud of myself when I finally busted 11

Great idea for a thread...gives us all something to shoot for.

Good idea on the sticky!

10.6. I've been practicing, hopefully I can tighten it up a bit soon. How are you all timing? We're getting a system soon.

Yeah, that's right, I'm using that thousandeth's place, I paid alot of money for that damn timer and the thousandeth's place

And since I probably double most of you in weight, I'm pretty proud of that time. I got alot of mass to get moving that 176 feet

Oh, and DO-We are using the Equaline timing system here. It works pretty good until the batteries start getting low. I almost chucked a tripod across the garage yesterday.

I haven't done it in 4 years, my time in 2002 was 10.03
on a fibreflex cutaway, midtracks and stingers.

I guess i can improve it a bit now, i'll try it again when it's dry.

I did 10.15 over the weekend but I'm not posting again on NCDSA until I break 10 (if I can).

10.782!! I finally broke into the 10's! I was so happy, I kicked a cone across the garage!

Leaning into the course and keeping my shoulders square to it helped tons.

My fastest time today is 9.59... I'm really surprised.

I currently ride a PPS Brown bomber at minimum wheelbase with a front indy and a back tracker RT-s. Front khiro white barrels, back yellow khiro and green superball. Wheels : Back Zags 70mm 86a and front Hotspot 89a.

Anything I should change to shave some tenths ?

Thanks !

Maybe a footstop and an offset/split-axle truck in the back? Then you would be able to throw ALL your weight into the pumps.

Reg,

I'll be interested to here is a better rear truck helps. I've run indy 101 front and rear for cyber as I didn't think the traction was need in a straight line.

Joe, we have one timed session with trackmate each week and it's saturday so I will tell you next week if it changed something or not.

Today I tried it with green and grey cambrias...seems to be good, good acceleration but I cant tell you if it changed someting to my time.

Hope to race with you soon !

Best Cyber time 10.47 secs. Got home soaked my dogs in the Con Air foot spa Damm feet are sore. I found out that once you enter the course you attack the first 6 cones hard and don't back off Eddy Texas Outlaws.

Had a 9.999 today. Actually had a 9.813 but I hit a cone. Certainly a lot better with a timing system. You don't have to think about anything other than getting through the cones.

Do all you guys run the course both ways and then average the times, like you're supposed to?
