run over cones/cups

how does everyone stop people from running over ur slalom cones/cups when ur doing it in the middle of the stree??? tips would be great because some idiot keeps running my cups over.

The most obvious one would be

DONT DO IT IN THE STREET.

But, since I do the same thing now, I guess I cant be a dick. What I do is stay to one side of the street and give cars plenty of room to get buy and whatnot. Just be curtious and mindfull

Get some really big traffic cones to put at the beginning and end of the run. You won't use them as part of your course but the cars will respect them and steer around rather than through.

I have a course on a street with cars. I set it off to the side, but also use traffic cones stepping in at an angle prior to the course to steer cars around. I was worried that it would attract cops, but so far they've just driven by with everyone else.

get a cone, and trace the bottom circle of it, get some $1 welcome home mats in that carpet like fabric from Walmart, cut out the circles and use those instead of cones, cars can run them over, and you never have to reset the course, you can also run them over on your board, and feel where you would of hit the cone.

sounds like your on a really busy street. might be best to find another spot.

-business parking lots after hours/weekends seem to work best for me.
-look for new neighborhoods being built too. never any traffic, and the roads are
usually brand-spankin' new.

forgot to add: if you take those little water bottles and fill them about halfway with sand, they will survive being
hit/run over better than plastic cups. only downside is carrying those things to your session, they dont stack very well ..

the real problem is you running over the cups. i used to use cups and i bailed sooooo hard one time from them

you could just get a gun or a rocket launcher or some shiat and blow those mofos to hell, eventually there wont be any of 'cone/cup running over' type people left

i havent run any cones on a main street. i normally set up mine out in a new estate, where no houses have been built so theres no worry about traffic.

also just a question, do you set up on a section of road that has no driveways coming out?

i live in a colvasack(or how ever u spell it) so there arnt that many people who drive down my street

tie all the cones together with fishing line. pull them off the street real quick when need arises. just an idea.
