Default A few Dixie Cup questions?

Sorry to make this another thread, but I thought others might like to know the answers also. Also sorry to keep bothering you Marion. You can let others answer these, I know your doing alot.
    For us new comers
    1. What kind of speeds are we talking about at each race, even the DH.?
    2. About what kind of cone spacing at each race (Hybrid and GS)?
    3. To race on Fri and Sun do I still need to sign up and pay $60 or could I volunteer on Sat?
    4. Is there a campground near by? a skatepark? with a bowl?

Thanks for all the help. About question 4, I'm not being cheap I just can't commit to going just yet and I'll have to miss Fri and part of Sat even if I do go. So I don't mind coneheading, heck I'll even be a human cone if you want (I'm harder to get around.)

They've been clocked at a little over 40mph on the DH and I'm guessing they were hitting in the neighborhood of 30-35 on the GS running from the top of Hobby Hill. The Hybrid I'd be guessing 15-20mph. Supposed to be a bit faster this year.
    My Quiver?

Too many boards that I don't ride enough...

1> the DH can be 40+ MPH from the top. note: if you have limited experience with
speed [not meth] .. then being a spectator is the best thing. this goes for anyone.

    2> hybrid [6, 8, & 10 feet] tight/hybrid 6,7
3> send an email to karr
4> KOA nearby, there was a guy that permitted camping on his land last year.
this is "real" camping, not KOA camping. i need to make a call about that. i'll send
    you a PM about it.
