slalom boardd

hey guys i want to get into slalom, and am looking into buying myself a board. what do you guys think would be a good deck and setup? i was looking at the axes and roes....

Axes and roes are excellent choices. So are PPS, bahne, fatboys,subsonic,etc. If you're just getting into slalom, you probably would do well with an well-rounded board like a subsonic pauliwog. Tracker RT-X/S 106mm with the appropriate wedging/dewedging, some zigzags, and biltins are good to start off with. I personally use a roe PS2.8 with radikal front @ 10*, stable seismic rear, 83/80a zigs, and biltins. If you're into high-end, then there's trucks like radikals, airflow, GOG, splitfire, etc., but they're going to cost you a pretty penny. I suggest that you try different setups and see what fits your riding style best. Slalom boards require a lot of tweaking, but once you get it right, you'll know it.
