Couldn't go to Dixie Cup Support Group

So I, like many of you, didn't get to go to the Dixie Cup. even if i had gone I wouldn't have been able to compete anyway. That's what i keep tellin myself to lessen the fact that I really wanted to go anyway and couldn't. money, obligations and general lameness. So I miss out on all the fun and hi-jinx and the Jersey v/s Canada crap. INstead of watching the action on Hobby Hill on Saturday I will be cleaning the gutters, raking leaves, putting up screening on the porch and who knows what else. That is after I go buy a new ladder and rake. i seem to have lost mine during the move....Dad! I know you got them.

Well I got the leaves mulched and the gutters cleaned. The wife took me out for pie and ice cream. I got some sport new clothes. Went to the skatepark. Hardly any BMXers for a change. Made contact with a few skatebros and made plans to go skate. Not a waste of a weekend.....BUT.....I still wish I could have joined in the fun and debauchary. Next year!
