Yeah, another new board thread...
This is what I plan on getting for a pumping/slalom deck.
Conekiller TS - $75
Airflow 110mm - $109
Tracker Racetrack RT-X 106mm - $19
Retro Zig Zags Lime - $23
Retro Zig Zags Lemon - $23
Mini logo bearings - $9
Khiro Big Bad Bushing Kit - $30
Just a few questions, is the airflow worth it for a back truck or should I go for the cheaper Tracker Racetrack RT-S. What can you suggest for spacers and wedging because I know nothing about it, and what should I get for bolts for all this and what should I get for bolts if I plan on using a bushing for a footstop.
Anyone know of a good deal on the Conekiller TS? Im considering an Axe but I would prefer a Conkiller TS.

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
Conekillers are good boards.
Airflows are awesome trucks too, deffinitly worth it.
Run the airflow at a -10 wedge and your front tracker anywhere from 10-20, its all preference. What size Zigs are you looking at?

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
i would learn to do the basics on non fancy trucks so when you get the fancy you can have magical powerz

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
i have a used slaler MHMark sold me and its awesome with the airflow truck, totally awesome for pumping, I learned on RTS but the airflow is great, I would get some better bearings tho! and spacers...

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
I've learned how to pump, I can do it no problem on my Zen with revenges and crapy S9 wheels. But I havn't ridden a good pumping deck like the one I want to make.
Oh plus, the bearings were the item I care the least about and I was trying to keep it under 300(didnt happen). Plus Im going to not clean those bearings so when I do have to replace them I dont have to worry about tossing these or putting them on a crappy board.

How many degrees does a khiro soft wedge adjust? I'm putting together my first slalom setup too and am completely lost...
Board: Kebbek Pierre Gravel Pro TS (specs: 31.0" x 8.125") $109 (CAD) = From Kebbek Site
Trucks: Tracker rts/trx 106mm $18.95 each x 2 = $38 usd = Strange-house.net
Wheels: Manx 69mm 78a (already Have) = Free
Bearings: Noname Abec 7's (already have) = Free
Spacers: 10mm (already have) = Free
Wedges??? I want to use Khiro wedges but how many... 2 in front(wedge) and 1 in rear (dewedge)? Would a Khiro Wedge Rail Riser Kit be a good idea or are the softies better?
Any help would be great. I wanna get my wiggle on.

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
Tobes - don't hesitate for a second. That is an awesome setup and a super deal. We have a pretty big slalom scene in CT, and it's only growing. You should come out and practice with us next year, we're probably going to start having fairly regular sessions. I'd also suggest some precision spacers from JBH, he sells them in the Vendor's forum. They're really awesome; I run them in all my slalom boards.

I've got the bushing kit #1. I'd rather work with the soft wedges then the rails anyway. Thanks for the info.

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
The rail kit has one problem- I find that you need to buy at least too to get your board really tweaked. I hav recently switched over to using the soft wedge pads and like those a lot better.
-On my front Rad I run one 10 degree soft wedge, and on my back truck, whether it be an Indy offset or my Airflow, I also run a 10 degree soft wedge.
-When I am riding trucks like my Indy 109s I run 2 soft wedges in the front, and one in the back.

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
Ok, so are tracker angled risers 10 degrees also? Also should I rise it another 1/2 so I dont get wheel bite?

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
Consider the Pleasure tool sealed Abec 7s. Once you break them in you will get years of ridding hard core on these and trust me, they are FAAAST. And I forgot to mention one thing: $10.50 a set!!! www.edswheels.com

Re: Yeah, another new board thread...
all i know is that the soft risers weigh alot more than the rails. it wont matter when youre starting out but i would never use them on a foamcore
