The DHB Core Leadership would like to announce that we would be proud to host the 2007 World Championships of Slalom Skateboard Racing (working title) here in Statesville, North Carolina on September 27, 28, 29, and 30th, 2007.

Although I have never raced slalom myself (I really plan to, just don't have a deck!) I am in full support of the DHB hosting the 2007 World Slalom event! Statesville, NC is only about 1 1/2 -2 hours from me and I could actually attend a world event! Looking forward to hearing/seeing more on this, best of luck with everything!!

Hey Karl....Juggy is the collective voice of the 9 CORE DHB (the founders). Juggy will always refer to his vessel in 3rd person....ha ha.

I got to tell you all while I am thinking about. Joe I. is a big part of the inspiration of the DHB. When I went to my first slalom session with Tucker at Exit 46 the week before the DHB's very first jam (we had formed the group but had not run a cone...we are all downhillers/longboarders)....Joe I. called me on the mobile phone to ask me how it was going...he had seen the post I was going to go try to run some cones and had bought a board. That's where the slalom arm of the DHB pretty much started. Joe I sharing the stoke.
