    Default Deck Question

I have to 29 inch decks and i am considering picking up slalom because it looks fun and challenging.
The two dekcs i have are an Alva 70's reissue and a flexdex clear 29.
I think the alva would work but i want to know if anyone has tried or hear about using the clear 29.

i havent used either of them. but i would be tempted to use the alva because it will be less flexy. that's just me. that wheelbase is going to be REALLY tight though.

I would use the alva over the flexdex. The flexdex is flat and lots of downward flex, or deflection. Thats great for carving, but not so great for pumping through cones.

But, if you have the money, I would recomend getting a slalom specific deck.

Could allways give modifying a street board a go.. a vert board would be even better.
If you have one lying around
otherwise buy or make a slalom specific board.
