Default I'm Glad I'm building a slalom board

Well, I can honestly say I'm really glad I'm cutting down my S9 Cosmic 2 to a design that is 29.5x8.5 with a 23" wheelbase. I was on my way to a hill (where later that day I fell because of a ####### dog) when I was cruising down this slightly downhill part and I noticed that there were these cones set up for some guys house (I guess he's remodeling or something) so my friend and I decided to practice a few runs weaving in and out of the cones, and I realized I love it. So yay, can't wait to get some tracker 106s and zig zags for that sucker.

a 30 incher is more ideal for tight or hybrid, so i would suggest a smaller wheelbase. 23" is on the bigger end for GS, so i would suggest something like 20"

sounds like you caught the slalom bug, eh? good to hear

Alright thanks for the suggestion. Will take into account. (goes and redraws drilling holes.)

just make sure that theres about four inches of pointy nose. so when you do hit a cone, they fly to the sides and not straight ahead for you to hit again.

Anyone else ever drive by some road construction, look at all the cones, and think "Now, if they just had an offset by that backhoe..."?
"Life is short, your boards don't have to be..."
