    Default Bushing as a toe-stop

Can someone tell me how to set these up as toe stops? I see lots of pics, but I'm confused because the hole in a bushing is for a kingpin, not truck mounting hardware. How do you accomodate for the slop? Do you raise them off the deck as well? Step by step.. What do I do?

Sorry for sounding completely ignorant, but I just removed my C-block as a toe stop as I was finding it hard to re-adjust my foot for foot braking with the C-block on.

I used a spacer from my junk nuts and bolts can (probably something from a MTB brake) and then a washer on top to hold it all together....it work but not well I would thing about using a toestop/block like TVAR or NECF sell they work a lot better

    1. a looooong bolt with nylock nut.
    2. non-used cup washer from truck [i use the "top" washer from a tracker.
    3. small washer that fits around bolt [see 1.] and
is big enough to cover the kingpin hole in the truck washer.
    4. bushing you don't use. in my case a black khiro.

put small washer onto bolt, put bolt through cup washer, put bolt
through bushing, put bolt through deck, put bolt through truck,
    tighten nylock nut ... done.

to accomodate for the slop, thread on about 4 nylock nuts, then push the bushing onto the stack of nuts. cap off with a flat washer and nylock nut.

I prefer using a flipped conical bushing on the top two bolt holes...really lets you dig your toes in and get that leverage you want...

Thumbs up Re: Bushing as a toe-stop

I made one of these with an old bushing out of some park trucks, a long khiro mounting screw and two washers. I only did it to check it out after seeing boards with them here but I am so stoked how much power I can put to my board when pumping now.
