Olympic courses?

With all the talk about skateboarding getting into the Olymipics got me wondering. What do you suppose an Olymipic slalom course would be? How long? How many cones? Spacing? Head to head or time trials?

Head to head for tight. 50 cones maybe more.
possibly same for HS
S, GS, SGS. would be time trial for sure.

I think the most enjoyable to watch would be head to head HS something over 20 seconds. any less time would make it too fast for the straights to follow

probably true for the debut but that age would probably go down fast in the decade following it.

My greatest fear is that they would try too hard to "standardize" it. Use bulldozers to push up a big artificial hill with a specific grade and pave it. Then make a standard course. That way when the Olympics move on the next city, they could have exactly the same set up. Then they could keep track of "world record" times.

Hopefully not. They haven't done that with the alpine skiing events

I don't know but if you think about they would certtainly ask the so-called experts wouldn't they?

The people that would be working towards the acceptance of Slalom skateboarding in the Olympics.

I don't think you would see much different courses then you do now. I do think that the road surfaces, pitch, spectators, would all be enhanced however.

they will for the first year and then the IOC will decide that a skateboard is officially a vehicle consisting of a board, 2 trucks and of course 4 wheels....
