8th in Hybrid after qualifying 11th and taking out claude, then losing to Pappas
5th in tight after qualifying 3rd, winning against Evan and getting knocked out by Pirnack in the round of 8

Congrats Civ! I'm sure you made all your opponents work really hard to advance.
Hopefully some footage from Just For laughs will show up, the were loads of cameras.
The hill we used on Saint-Denis is reaaaallly fast and has potential for a big slalom event.

Is that because your pool board is easier to swing at guys tryin' to snake your run?

occasionaly. The things are made to turn, right? Sometimes its fun just to hit a hill with no cones. Going 30 on a longboard feels like 15. Going 15 on a shortboard (slalom board) feels like 30 ... sometimes. And pumping uphill is a good training practice too.

Me too. My slalom boards are one of my main forms of transport, and they're much better for this than "long" boards, which don't have enough turn and are heavy and cumbersome for carrying.

I find it's actually easier to hurt someone with a slalom board. Foamcore makes of great swingweight, pointy nose also makes a great stabbing impliment.
