Yesterday I finally got around to trying different bushing setups in my humu w/ midtracks (flat front, dewedged back)because I came up on a few different duros of khiro bushings. First of all, I gotta say WOW because I never knew what difference using soft bushings/loose trucks and hard back/tighter trucks could make. I went from struggling to pump to flying with ease now that I finally got it setup like its supposed to. Right now its setup with orange barrel fronts and red bitch backs. My question is how loose is too loose in the front truck? If the truck can be moved by hand really easily does that waste energy for a pump (I think it's called truck slop)? In the back truck how tight is too tight before I should go to a harder bushing?
Sorry if I'm new, I'm just really interested in this now that I tried it. Now I can see why people get addicted to slalom racing and gear tweaking.
