    Talking Farm 2007

This was my first Farm. I had a blast, FXXK the rain man. The STOKE LEVEL WAS HIGH. We ran 4 races in one day. Joe I and crew you are awesome. Is this the gathering of asphalt, peace and love. Oh yea, those east coast hippie skaters are so cool. I love the Canadians. Hey Mig and Danilo,Julie,Louie,Chris and Lisa all of you are good peeps. Boz and Dr Dan so cool to see you. Lea eres mi Hermano. Zak I am proud of you my bro, you did well for a newb. Enjoy it. Next year you are a seasoned rider. Gumby I am lucky to have you as a friend and practice with you, congrats on your Crock bro, it was beautiful when you gave the Crock to your mom. Thank you Joe I. I love you man. More photos to follow. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws/Pavel Flow
I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world.. without you. A world without rules or controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible.

Thanks to everybody - it's nice when people can travel from seriously far away (Gumby you're a beast!) and enjoy the area where you live. Great people, great skating, even better memories.

This one of my favorite pics of the contest. I caught BP reeling back on the 3rd beep, ready to explode onto the course. Luv bro. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws/Pavel Flow

Eddy nutted up and ran the big hill with the A class. He had an awesome ride and I am very proud of both him and Fatboy who flew thru the course in a kilt.

Eddy, dude your first GS run was killer. I was super stoked to see you killing it from the top.

Thanks Joe for keeping this thing going. I could have just free rode that hill all day long.

    Farm 07 was slalom perfection.

And like Ant said: I also would take a bullet for any Iacovelli!

Here goes....my second annual "Things I learned at the Farm" Post.

    - Joe and his family are beyond gracious and tolerant
    - For once it wasn't one of us puking inside
    - It was however a few of us puking outside
    - Texicans while frightening on the outside are soft and squishy on the inside. Much Love Amigos!
    - Paint toxicity is highly overstated
    - Dingle balls make you fast
    - Helmets that don't fit give you gnarly goose eggs when you slam
    - When Mig falls, similar to Fatty, a little piece fo me dies inside
    - 2 of the 3 components of the New Jersey Holy Trinity can still bring a man to his knees
    - My girlfriend is gnarcore
    - Gumby+handplants make me jealous
    - Scooter and his North Jersey hospitality never ceases to amaze me
    - Destiny can still sing
    - I need to train more before a race
    - Leo is good people
    - Surly enjoys feeding Canadians jelly beans that taste like potting soil
    - Luke is the new Civ
    - NY State feels you need to lay out traffic cones 10 miles before and after the one guy smoking cigarettes on the back of the work truck.
    - US Tim Hortons is not even a reasonable facsimile thereof.
    - Your Taco Bell wins
    - Sydia can DH a plastic rig
    - Duke's mom makes the best cup of coffee I've ever had south of our borders
    - Nicky and Mountain Dew should be kept far away from each other.
    - And finally a little booze and abundance of trust that Joe I isn't "dirty on the inside" will allow you to think that Snowballing a raw Oyster isn't that bad

I'm sure I could add another 50 with ease.

To new friends and old thanks for a killer weekend!!!!

Fullbag Team could never thank Joe I and his whole family enough for that fantastic weekend. It was simply perfect! Pulling a 2 day event into one, because of the rain, without any major glitches was miraculous. The hill, the pavement, the courses, the racing, the parties, the bands, the people... everything was out of this world!

Big thanks goes out also to the Duquettes for their hospitality on thursday night and to Glenn for all he did. Thanks to everyone who helped in anyway to make this a classic once again. I hope The Farm will live for ever.

Besides my 2nd place crock for the GS (I still can't believe it!), here's my most "vivid" memory from The Farm 07:

...along with a few bruised ribs, and banged up right knee/left elbow. These make me "think" of The Farm every single minute of the day and night... Good thing I was wearing my helmet too, from the looks of the scratches on it now! By the way, that hipper is now twice that size... Ha! Ha! Ha!

All of Julie's pictures are here: http://www.hatem.ca/thefarm07/

    - Yes, the Fullbag Team likes Curtis BBQ. (see pictures above)
    - Mr. Surly just f@cking rules!
    - Eddy and Fatboy were impressive!
    - Revzack is a cool dude.
    - BP is a powerhouse.
    - Seeing Sofa King podium made my day.
    - The Duque is fast on anything with 4 wheels.
    - Watching Trashin' from start to finish with a room full of skaters = LAUGHTER!
    - Gumby is literally the King of the Road.
    - Sydia + clay wheels = BIG BALLS!
    - I can't imagine a race without the Ontarionistans and the Jersey Douchebags. It just wouldn't be the same...
