    Default Texas Weather

Has anyone talked to Marcos or anyone else along that stretch of Texas coast? I assume Eddy's clear because he's too far south.

    Any word?

Fort Worth's getting intermittent storms at the moment. Cooled the temp down a bit, I was able to pump a few miles after work without breaking much of a sweat, so I can't complain.

Yesterday was good for surfing. Nothing else. Many people got their cars flooded that drove into the high water. People never seem to learn you cant do that.
My Moms car got flooded , but it was just parked and when she came out to it {she was at work} she still works some at 80. It was halfway filled.

I had fun yesterday though. Took day off and went surfing in Galveston. It was kinda disorganized , but what you would expect from storm surf.
It was FUN!!! Its been flat for weeks. we will get some surf from Dean,,,, but I hope it doesnt come right down our alley and do damage.

    Cool Re: Texas Weather

WT we are watching the weather channel constantly. Since I work in the ICU we will probably evacuate if the Hurricane is a level 5. Our hospital is strong enough to handle a level 3. People are allready stocking up on can goods, candles, plywood, water. Everyone is tense right now. The surfers are thrilled with the big swells. Thanks WT. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outaws/Pavel Flow.
I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world.. without you. A world without rules or controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible.

Pack the U-Haul Eddy. You may have to live in ColoRADo for awhile. Yes we have shortages for hospital employees too.

    Eddy,

My original post was about Erin hitting Houston LAST week.

Dean this week is a whole ''nother matter!

The really bad thing on top of everything else is Erin probably saturated the ground real well. That means Dean's rainfall won't have anywhere to go but UP. Flooding can be a real problem when storms hit like that one after the other. Even if Dean loses anything and goes down to "just" a tropical storm the rain can be devestating.

Eddy, take my advice: don't buy any frozen foods and start eating what you got. You can always buy more after the power comes back.
