Slalom style wedging/trucks

So I'm not a slalomer but I came here figuring you slalomers would have the most knowledge. I want to set up my Flexdex C29 like a slom board. I'm gonna but A bennet fron and RTS back. I heard I should wedge the Bennet only about 5%. I don't know about The RTS but I'm gonna wedge like number 2 in this diagram http://www.geocities.com/sk8sanjose/wedgepads.jpg . Any thoughts on this setup?



P.S. - I'm not gonna be using this for slalom but I want a quick turning board and a good pumper.

That diagram (#2) is a "typical" slalom wedging set-up; agile front and a stable rear.

In the "Slalom" section of the 'fish there is a discussion thread about wedging a Bennett front, including what's not enough and what's too much. Do a search- it's a good thread with a lot of information to at least get you to a starting point. Slalom with Bennett question (this one has some info for ya.)

Dude, here's how to do it: Wedge that bennett up 14* and dewedge the rear at least 7*. 14* would be better. White khiros up front, yellows in back. That's a race winning setup right there.
