Re: flexdex slalom question
good thats what i thought they are supposed to be really grippy plus they should be a little faster and smoother even though this board is supprisingly smooth as it is. anything else you guys reccomend for this board? im using tracker rtx/rts trucks cause thats what i heard were excellent.

Re: flexdex slalom question
i have them on my slalom 30v right now with some tracker sixtracks. The wheels are fine but i am deff. going to switch out the trucks. The wheels grip pretty good but when they cut loose, they cut loose!

Re: flexdex slalom question
if they're cutting loose on you it's because of your footing, not the wheels...and shed the 6 tracks, anything over 110 mm is too wide for most slalomboards....that flexdex is so flexible it's ridiculous, so when you stand on it, youre changing the pitch of those trucks. Because of that, put a wedge on the front and steep reverse wedge on back and you'll get a much better ride.....front bushings should be very soft, like Khiro orange bottom, white top...and the rear, medium to hard...make that rear as dead as you can

Re: flexdex slalom question
I had Grippins in a flexdex 29 with tracker rts/rtx 149mm and it worked fine. Fast and grippy wheels (78a). Given size of wheel make sure you put the right risers to avoid wheelbite. Follow the 2-21/2 finger gap rule between deck and wheels. I recall I needed at least 3/4" with loose trucks.

better question is how do you handle hills? the flex makes it very difficult to control at higher speeds, but if youre skilled and know how to spread your weight, itll be fine, i did it before (scary but got to the bottom)
