How small is too small??
I just got a 50 inch piece of wood. I was wondering if i could make two 24 inchers. I want them to be legit boards for actual racing. Is 24 inches too small?

well, at 24 inches, you would have your trucks out on the end of the deck. keith hollien rides decks like that, so ... sure, you could do it. keith's shortest [TS] decks are 25 inches. you can rip a 50 inch down to 2- 25 inch decks. well, probably 24 7/8ths each.

size of board != speed wobble
lack of comfort + too high center of gravity = speed wobble

if you read the original post, he wants to use it for slalom racing. and in slalom, we all know that speed wobbles are a state of mind.

Just make one 33" board and use many different wheelbase options.

Hey, try it out. Make your two 24's a little different from one another and see what you think.

BRILLIANT! Make two, keep the one you like and sell or donate the other one.

cut the board in half the other way and make 2, 50"s. Sell one for a lot of money and go buy a slalom board.
You can't hang a man, for killing a woman, who was trying to steal his board.
