Default sound good? first GS setup

hey guys about to buy my first gs. how does this sound:
main goal is have good pump and feels stable.

32" city bomber deck
bennett vector 5.0 front
tracker RTS 139mm on the back
ZigZag 70mm 80a Lime
Angle Shock Risers
abec5 bearings for now

am i missing anything?

or my other option is just to start out with the complete on insect, if i go this route what size trucks should i get? 105's, or the 130's?
Insect Skateboards - Online Shop - City Bomber

oh and is the bamboo core or the birch core going to make that big of a difference? im leaning more towards the birch just because its cheaper..
Thanks!

Why not the Sidewinder GS model instead?

Stay with the sidewinder, set up as you have. Don't go seismic

easy is on the right road.
Default Re: sound good? first GS setup

Too much camber on the Bomber, Sidewinder
139 too wide (129 is too, unless running centerset wheels)
Seismic on the rear only

Very big GS setup would be

Big Sidewinder
5.0 Bennett front
129 RTS or 130 Seismic rear
Any wheel you want

Little more flexible setup

Big Sidewinder
Skennett (or any other modified Bennett) front
106 RTS rear (or a Splitfire if you can find one)
Same wheels

There are other decks I like more, Roe, Pocket Pistols Skates etc.

Don't go Seismics

129's are plenty wide enough.

80a rear 85a front.

the axe completes are very very durable boards, pretty light... only thing i would do different, is i would buy everything seperate if you have the money...

next question is.. is this for real GS? or carving..... if this is your first slalom board i would recomend getting a hyrbird board maybe on the 33 " range.. that would be perfect for most disciplines. the axe hyrbid would be great for that... all the maysey boards are amazing... as i see your in nc.. whereabouts? if your not on the coast you could get a plum which is a board made by a downhillbillie , i have one i run for GS. id also recomend skating with the downhillbillies to improve your skills. there great guys.

but back to boards, the axes are nice.. but if youre looking to expand your horizins id recomend looking at different boards.

hope this helps..

alright thanks.

im in Winston Salem.
Ive been doing research on all different types of boards, and i find the most interest in slalom boards that can be turned very sharply.

I have access to a friends dervish, which i enjoy riding but want something smaller with more snap i guess.

im going to check out the downhillbillies.
