This is what I've made, 30" by 8", with a 21" wheelbase, i will add some smaller W/b options but I'm just testing it sitll, so far i very happy.
I made it with 1 layer of twill weave glass 1 layer of biaxial and one layer of carbon kevlar, and a carbon stripe.
The cocnave is about 1/3 of an inch, and has abit of camber the flex is spot on for me, stiff but with abit of give.
So anyone have any suggestions for the next generation..? Also, im not much of a slalomer, i been commited to DH this summer, I'm thinking of changing my rtx/s combo for a skennet and a skandal, any advise on truck options, also i was thinking about lemon zigs back and oraange front.....?
Good point, hadnt thought of that. However the mould is so off and nasty that its probably blanced out. I will probably go all carbon or two even stripes next time. Despratly need to do another mould.
If you're just starting out in slalom, stay with the RTX/S combo - they're fine. Dial in your bushings and work on your technique. I race with a stock Bennett and an RTS and they work great.

Yeh i have an rts/x combo on this at the moment, my pumping is almost perfected, just need to work on getting the power down, some of the surfaces round my way are bad, so on the smooth stufff i pump well on the rough stuff i basically stop.
I was going to test it out today with some grippins, but its decided to rain, the road is now nice and icey wet. Great.
I will continue playing with my khiros, think i need to start playing with wheels to. And hit the cones more often.
Thanks for the advice, i will try and post some pictures of me testing it out.
Only when I read it the second time did I notice you are from Brighton! Did you know that there are about 15-20 slalomers down your way?
We meet Friday evenings 5pm-8.30pm at Hove Lawns opp. Queen Vic. Statue and on Sunday mornings. A few of the boys are keen builders too...come on down!
