Default Pumping Velocity

Do you guys think it would be hard to maintain 15mph pumping if you're only pumping once every 2 seconds on current equipment?

"Hard" is relative. Are you in good shape, do you feel naked without a skateboard under your feet and are you trying to maintain 15 mph on the flat, up or downhill?

15 mph on a good even flat surface is certainly doable.

Oh well, it doesn't matter too much because my department won't let me take the class where I might have had this project to work on >.<

i thought you were doing this for fun.

to answer your question, sure, it's a challenge. but not nearly as hard as running a 4-minute mile.

Yeah, my senior design class (yay engineering school) had a pile of projects to pick from, one of which was to design trucks that would allow you to pump once every 2 seconds and still maintain 15-20mph. But that doesn't matter because they won't let me take the class, yay prereq's!

Cool class man! Too bad you didn't get in. Your questions seems so much more relevant now. Sorry if I sounded harsh...

Only once every 2 seconds?
Why THAT requirement??

I am a novice and can pump and maintain 15 MPH, if not faster...
Not too hard with just a tiny bit of practice!
