Default getting into slalom

well i currently ride a fullbag speedcarver. im totaly happy with this board but my question is is it a ok board to learn slalom on or do you think i should build my my own. the only problem is i have no experience building boards and i dont want to buy another board. this is my setup. Mile High Skates

Sorry to disappoint you, but that is far from a slalom setup.. I really like that set-up, but it will never be good for slalom.

can you give me some names of good setups so i can get a visual of the aspects that make up a good board.

also how hard is it to make a board. ive read over diy and it looks doable but then again so do alot of other things

also keep it simple at the start, this costs less money and is easier (in my opinion) to learn on. Tracker trucks in the RTX/S are a solid starting truck wheels in the 78 to 84 duro are good to. Glad to have you!

Skate kings is the bomb!

Check out my decks too... We have the new 31Ts that is not on the site yet... with skate kings skennett and our deck... My team kicked ass. Richeys Axe two is also a killer deck!

tight slalom, giant slalom & hybrid slalom
