after a heated discussion i had with a guy on the brazilian forum here are his final words on copying products and stealing ideas from pavel and gog,his name is bruno leonardo by the way!

I feel bad for anyone who gets on any cheaply made slalom trucks. It's dangerous, the hardest falls I've ever had have been from broken trucks. It's really good to know GoG and Rad test their equipment and it's reliable and made out of high quality material by people who know what they're doing.

That sucks to hear Don.

I just let my friend from Brazil (he lives with us) read this. He said "That's smart. That's legal in Brazil, so it's fine."

For real though, _I_ feel bad about what happened. That is really messed up.

Brazil is a whole other world. China is no different. And, unless you hold an international patent and can afford the attorney(s) then a copy may in fact be a sincere form of flattery. Mind you I am not an expert on international patents, but I dont see any wealthy slalom manufacturers that can defend themselves against copies.

Buy an original and support the skater/owner.

While it is legal and ethical in some parts of the world, the difference in precision components and cheap knock offs can't be hidden. And any serious slalom rider will not fall for it, and only serious wigglers put out the $$ for precision components.. I don't know.. but I can't believe it'll hurt the German Gang
