The very kind town of Antrim had this little pond made just for us slalom skaters. This is directly to your left as you cross the finish line.
I am posting a few that I took. There were many cameras on the hill. I am using a point and blink for this series.

This is COSS lake. We rented a house and this lake to prepare for Antrim.

The canoe and deck was included with the rental of the lake.

Reason: crap o crap spell
Of course... once I leave the East Coast, people realize how rad Antrim is and start showing up at the race. Hope you enjoyed the New Hampshire hospitality G!
Pierre Gravel -not the stuff in your shoe and for the life of me I can't remember this young man's name. (Dan "loves corn" Duquet?) Great picture! And those of you who are calorie counters..this was a friggin' small ice cream cone. No lie!
And little has been mentioned of this kid Riley Schroeder on the other chatty cathy boards. The "Oh Riley" factor was big here at Antrim. Running the big course too. Took a GINORMOUS wreck and was back on the board trying the hill again...and again and again.

It was all about the parade as I said it would be.
It was all about the town as Brian Beihl meant it to be.
Joe I. had sandbagged his whole family for the thousands of dollars in prize money. (Great host in Joe, and I am no longer a virgin in knowing this trait)
The town was all about us.
The food, the hospitality from the residents and the fireworks were unfathomably fantastic! (is that a word?)
The Sk8Kings brought 200-300 slalom skaters with them. They had 20 all black custom buses and when they exited the coaches, fog and Ac/Dc T.N.T was blaring from loudspeakers. Amazing!!!
Team FullBag with Mr.Big:They laughed at all my bad jokes. ( I am still trying to translate what one of them said to me in F.C...something like the smelly left cheek of a barn animal with a rash...oh well.??) Seriously! the nicest, fastest skaters and it was a pleasure meeting them and watching the race.
It was perfect Antrim, Thank You

Reason: unfashionable speller
I'm still a bit bummed to have missed the bulk of it, but got a bunch of kicks on Sunday, and have already issued blackout dates to my family for next year. No dying, giving birth, or wedding. I just won't have it.
Thank YOU all, racers, for showing this region how amazing this sport is, and how cool a bunch of skateboarders can be.
I've heard nothing but good about this event from my end, which really means a lot to the town, and to those who stick their necks out a bit to allow this to happen.
Good stuff.
Please let me know when there's some slalom fun to be had within 100 miles of here, I'll make an effort to bring all the Antrimites (Antrimians?) I can muster.
