Re: 2009 Texas Sizzler
I feel for you COSS guys. I too am driving in and it looks like I'll be driving through rain, hail, tornadoes and whatever else Mother Nature has in her bag of driving nightmares. The closer the Sizzler gets the worse the Weather Channel says the weather is going to be.
Here's wishing a safe trip to everyone. If by land or by air or by sea(?).

Re: 2009 Texas Sizzler
Who wants to meet for a little session @ Round Rock, Friday evening? What time is best for that place? I'm just trying to plan my arrival and impending Austin rush hour commute.
Borto...what time are you gonna run cones? It'd be cool if I could mess around with this TS set up I'm working on...especially since I've never ridden any of it.

In about 12 hours, Babs and I will be hoping in the xB for the 1.5 hour drive to Austin!!
Borto...is there a practice session tomorrow? I got the TS deck gripped and I'll pay ya for those Aces! (I hope this thing skates worth a damn. )

Re: 2009 Texas Sizzler
Just talked to Chris Pappas.... he & Martin Reaves are stuck in Pueblo, Colorado. All the roads are closed. If they don't open up soon, they may have to go back to Boulder.
George is taking a different route, he's in New Mexico.... the snow is blowing sideways on the higway.
Safe travels to everyone.
God Speed.
Here is a picture of my friends car in Wyoming today.

Wow. I hope everyone is safe. This time of year, I'm glad I'm from Texas and not one of the snowy states.
