Do these wheels have any potential as a serious slalom race wheel.
I never have the chance to test them, they are usually dead after one day of racing or hard DH.

Thanks,

i doubt it with zigs on the market.
1) they're proven to be phenominal slalom wheels
2) cheaper than o'tangs

.....im standing by my 70mm zigs for my slalom/pumping adventures

I like Zigs as well, you have the option of running 3 diff wheel sizes with the same type of wheel.

i would assume the otang might be too soft for most riders as well

I like them but they lack little grip at the limit.

they are bulky and have thicker lip so the wheel feels little "numb" compare to zigs.

I replaced my Lime zigs with 4 pred and will go back to zigs after.

It just lack the final tuch you can get from the wheels.

slide is much predictable tho..

honestly you'll be fine with either. 4prez are not slide wheels but they will slide, but zigs do too if you push them as well. the only one who can make the assumption is you, youll really have to try both for yourself to see what your comfortable with. i think the otangs might be a tad lighter
