Old, I notice you seem to really like the EW Road Rages. But, you only talk about the blue thane. You ever ride the red? I'm looking for plush, fast, and a little narrower than zigs.

I only talk about the Black thane. I have one set of blues, but that was a fluke. Reds are too soft for my weight. Blues are nice, but Blacks are just way too awesome. Fast and slippy.

After seeing that shot of the big bacon I'm wondering if I should hold out on my next board purchase.. I want a double kick street(ish) deck... only longer. Since the board I WAS going to go with wasn't a Soda board, I'm not going to mention it by name. Either way, I'm even more intrigued by the big bacon, now. I lurve bacon. Which reminds me, I took my Jerk out for the first time in a long time. PTG sat the session out.

I second the Road Rages. I like the 78a better than the blue 81a. Old told me likes the harder ones [black 84a] because they match his weight better plus they slide faster. My reds 78a slid real smooth after breaking in, and I love that all-round thane,
- the red is plusher than the blue I think. Ive owned 4 sets in total,... waiting fore the 5th to arrive for my top-mount Soda.

I'm setting up my Hula with Ronin 174mm 40/40 (45/35 after wedges) and 66mm Black Road Rage. Jessup XC on top. Hopefully I can run that setup to max lean without bite.

45/35 on the Hula is tits! I'd go short wheelbase too if you can. Bombing is plenty comfortable on the 25" wb with those angles, and she'll also be ready for a garage/ditch/park attack!Low angles in the back work really well coz you got so much leverage there. dem hips!

They look to me not as wide [in this foto]- I'm looking at some Bigzigs here in real life too..
Relevancee: I'm looking for a lippy centerset [or narrower] wheel for my Underdog because I've got the trucks spaced out pretty wide..
- wide hangers and a short wheelbase make for a really fun 'n surfy ride, but I need to lose about 5-6 mm..
