Just had to sit through Christmas Eve morning mass. As a "married to a nice Catholic girl and have to go to church in spite of my atheism" kind of guy, I used the opportunity to catch up on a few silverfish threads (love my iPhone). I had no idea of the extent of the Soda bashing going on in the "controversial opinions thread". After a few posts accusing us of being a cult I thought, if thats the case, we need a bible. I think it would start off something like this:

Big thanks to Rus for making the sweet, sweet Schilli. Managed to escape the -20* C we have in Edmonton now and am in Maui. Schilli is the perfect size for the checked bag. Took it out this morning after a 2 month skate hiatus and remembered how hard skating in flip flops is.

Trying to decide now if I want more tequila or should go skating. Decisions, decisions.

Who runs their indeesz for speed. Not getting responses on surfs thread and I know there's one or two here that go fast on theirs with soda. How do u set em up to handle fast without sketch, how much wedge/dewedge and what bushings?

Dewedge 5° and start there. Seems to take out the sketch for the most part. Bushing are going to be very much decided by weight and such so I am not help to you there as you and I are pretty different weights.

Did a bit of experimenting a bit lately to get a little more speed out of my IndeeSZ and came up with this:

It's an eliminator BS and a riptide Magnum RS. Much better at speed even without a dewedge. I've only taken
It to around 30mph but there's definitely more in it.

I kind of started it and it escalated very quickly to some serious hate, going on for a couple pages. On the other hand, my first soda board is in the mail now. Skateporn will be posted in 3-4 days (hopefully). Maybe I'll be converted to the cult and arguing with xyzragon in a week.

Get a set of soft khiro wedge risers to dewedge them and go from there. They're 7* and the things still turn like crazy. Barrel or fatcone on the bottom, barrel on top.

The full double size 1/4 inch one is i think designed so you can drop in and not get hung on the coping like you would with a normal tail puck.

Sheesh!, don't know what all the fuss was about. But when you think about the title of the thread "State your unpopular or controversial opinion" that really sums it up in a nutshell.
