I was working on a last minute board for a friend when I got a txt from Rob saying that they were waiting on me for the 10,000th post... so, I cleared out of the shop to make an appearance....

But, you beat me to it.

Anyway, this is kinda wild & I don't know what to write accept....

I have no idea how I was the first PM on that blue textilium jailbait, but...... lucky lucky me!!!! It is shipping out Monday!!!!! ECC, I need to place another order soon.... ha ha! I am going all Blaine on this one. I have already talked to my local Ace manager, and have every color of X Metals on order.

I was just curious which Hybrids you have set up on your DoubleTap. Are they Ace or Indy, and if they are Indy do you think Ace 55 hybrids would be big enough? They are 168mm hangers, 228mm total, whereas the Indy 215s are 184mm hangers, 254mm total length. I've heard very good things about the Ace hangers is the reason I ask. I'm trying to decide which hybrids to buy for the DoubleTap when it is released.

Don't forget some Crystal Clear Enamel or other clear topcoat to seal it all up.

while on the topic, I shot my first set of Holeys with red X-Metals last night. These look so cool.

finaly took a picture of all of them. those kryptos are fun scary. i dont even try to grip anything with them. would love a 35* plate. and rus, i finaly found a way to work flannel plaid into a board

Could be worse. You might not notice you put a truck on backwards one day until you go to push and it tosses your salad for you. (I burned the t-shirt I got for that oversight)

thanks, and that reminds me, I remember from when I first started skating ( 2006 )
I built my first board with a jigsaw and stuff.
it was based off of some old dogtown model that my dad had in his attic from the 70's
and then I put the trucks on backwards cause then I barely even knew how to skate.
I had one inch bolts on the like 20 ply thick piece of ply wood, so later on I had to get 3 and a quarter inch bolts and when I went to ride it with my sick new tunnel wheels I had saved up for and some nice reds, I would push right, the board would go left, and not to mention MASSIVE wheelbite.
anyways in the end I pimped it out with oldschool bennets indy plates a custom spray job, tunnel rocks (63mm, transparent red) and a sweet grip job.
I still ride it, and suprisingly it hasnt broken, but yeah,
expierience helps.
