I'll share pics though. I decided this morning I'm going to give it the same (pita) grip treatment as my carbon knucky, except it will be better this time and I'll paint the top a color to match the wheels du jour. Prolly red, organge or maybe white.

Trucks - it might depend on what will fit the board and what I've got on hand.
I was leaning towards orange too. I've got some fat clear orange 3DM. If I had foreskin forethought, I would've had some of them orange slashers in the box Mark shipped me yesterday. Oh well.

How much stiffer/lighter is the 9ply w/ formica than the 10ply?

the 9 ply w/ formica is just about as stiff as a 10 ply w/out... one of my interns has a 9 w/formica that has no flex under 185 lbs... Fish member "Img" has a 10 w/ Formica and may be able to chirp in on how it suits his weight (over 200 lbs I believe). I only weigh 167ish..
and can only comment on the difference between the 9 w/ & w/out formica & it is significantly stiffer.
