Carowinds is in IN Charlotte and half of it is in South Carolina. "South of Charlotte and in SC" could be all of two miles from Charlotte.

I live about 7 miles across the South Carolina boarder and I'm willing to drive if anybody wants to go longboarding with me.

i'm north of charlotte... getting ready to pick up MY LB soon (currently cruising on a buddies board).. right now I am riding a freebord. I am open to riding with someone too... i am a carver at heart not hugely a fan of high speed DH .

I am going to be in charlotte for the fall semester because of a co op position. i was wondering if charlotte has hills and parking garages like raleigh. i am a carver/crusier and i need someone to show me around all the good spots.

Hey there. No we don't have good hills, sorry to disappoint. The hills are basically all really short, and straight.

There are some parking garages we could hit up though...and we have some nice-ish golf courses that we could go to if you're interested.

do you know where you're going to be staying>

i dont know exactly where i will be staying but i know i will be working somewhere on church street. no hills, that sucks but i hope there are high parking decks there or the areas around charlotte. i start work Aug. 19

Err it isn't flat, but the hills are just short, that's it.

i like short steep hills which should be good for cruising. i will pm you when i get to charlotte.

there is apparently a group tat cruises around uncc one night a week... i havent made it out there yet but I want to. I am using a buddies board for the time being

Because it just clutters the forum.

And if someone lived on the border, then another person that lived on the other border should probably be smart enough to check out the other thread.

There are pages after pages in both the NC/SC thread.

This thread was unnecessary to begin with.
