    Default Gypsum hills in fla

Soo I was speaking to a contractor who told of a vast deposit of " gypsum" at the top, there is a pond " cooling pond" this pond, I was told was so large that you couldnt see the other side, The gentleman continued that this site is a while away from anywhere

now, I thought a uniform, steep slope of man made material a good distance from anything of significance sould like a perfect mountainboard site, can anyone help shine some truth onto this subject, I didnt get a location of exactly what process creates this product, but after googleing, I found a good suspect Phosphogypsum

....lol on second thought, Dont go there

just answered my own question, but still feel it is significant to go on the fish in case someone stumbles upon this site

    Interesting thanks for the post!

I've always thought about finding a landfill, lime stone mine, etc with a nice paved hill, hasn't happened yet.

damn. yeah I am thinking bout taking my new mountain board down these land fills here in jersey , maybe if we get enough people interested we can get a path carved in this dense meadows, its not all that steep and there will be little natural obstacles, but it would be a nice wide clean slate..... so yea i see the appeal in refuse piles
