Atlanta longboarders

New to the "fish" and relatively new to Atlanta. I am hoping to get area lonboarders together for some sessions. Just got back from a morning sesh at REI in Dunwoody plus two others (not tellin) and it was great, Since I moved here I have visited every store and have found Woodys Halfpipe to be great (found them after reading their article in Concrete Wave) and the girl Tammy and the owners son Matt to be really helpful. To keep it simple I suggested to Matt at Woodys that they use there facebook fan club as a way to send out info. They told me that the woodyshalfpipe.com website has an email feature where if you signup you will hear about stuff too. I agree with what they say in the article about how online stores just take money and could care less about local scenes. Anyway lets all meet up at teh woodys facebook group and go skate!

Also, if anybody is in Jonesboro, I am headed out tonight to skate by Lake Spivey.

i live close to A town. i roam around the areas of newnan and kennesaw....

if your new to atlanta you should check out kennesaw its about 30 miles north. not that far, but its a mountan town, there are plenty of gnarley hills over there, the best i have ever seen in GA. every neighborhood is just full of sick hills dude.

sadly im stuck down in south florida till december, but ill be back, to skate them beautys again. keep in touch.

oh and i guess this is my first post. blah blah blah im daniel nice to meet you, im not a noob but since there are no hills down here(palm beach gardens SOUTTHHHH florida) i guess ill live my bombing fantasy online

Nobody lives down here in duluth i keep trying to get people to join but only 2 other people i no longboard, and there are some pretty sick hills down here

GABoarder - I hate to call you out on a bunch of crap, but that is just that.

I work in Duluth and skate McDaniel Farm Park almost every weekday at lunch. LBA had a HUGE Gwinnett session yesterday. Like MARATHON sesh, bigtime. We skated for close to 8 hours. Did McD, George Peirce switchbacks, Settles Bridge (the back 9), and wound up at my house for beers (for those of age) and Gatorade (for those not of age). You need to get on the LBA google group (in my sig), or the LBA Facebook page. You are welcome to skate with us! We were 14 strong at GPP and SBP yesterday. It was AWESOME to have a crew that large. Really upped everyone's game....

Dude, I live in Duluth. I skate with 6 longboarders that are less than 10 mins drive from Duluth/Alpharetta area. There IS some gnarly #### to be hit, you just need to step it up and come ride w us. im mostly down to skate every day at least at some point.. hit me up six seven eight 446 8085

ok cool i was skating with my friend at some park i think it was called sims park or something like that but i met a guy and he told me about the google group thing ill check it out
