hey guys, i just wanted to let you know there's a slide jam going down november 28 in Birmingham, specifically Vestavia Hills

if someone has an extra set of hard slide wheels please bring them
for those of you who dont slide

anyway i'm trying to get as many people as possible, so we can all meet up for once, and i'm trying to get a sponsor, so try to spread the word and get people to email me

I've been practicing some super basic slides on my 'slide deck' so Daniel doesn't show me up too bad. lol

Probably sometime 12-1pm or even earlier like 11am if I can find a way to wake up

Bama's in the foothills, it's a lil bumpy in the northern half

Wow, this whole time I've thought it was in October- like 10 days from now.

This has not been my month for accuracy.

dunno... i'm still broke.

depends on my gig schedule.. but honestly, if i come to TX to skate, it'll most likely to be in Houston for that insane park and the other thousands of great spots... no tellin though, still got a few months to see

birmingham and ESPECIALLY the southside of Bham has some absolutely gnarly runs... there is one run through a neighborhood up near that stature on that mountain??? i know i am being vague...

but there is a statue on a mountain i think in the homewood area that is absolutely amazing.. 40+mph and amazing streets running off of it for perfect slide sessions.. NOT to mention the whole 5 points area is surrounded by steep hills...

i wish i could make it out for this from atlanta but doesn't look feasible... We did however meet a young 15 year old from bham this weekend at the clemson event that came all the way by train.. good to see a scene flourishing there.. i think i was the only person taht rode years ago when i lived in t-town and b'ham

You know the kid you're talking about is the author of this thread - Arcadium? I was there too and got a chance to talk to him, which is how I found him on here. Small world, huh?

That was a super fun event incidentally. I'm looking forward to visiting Clemson again for more sliding in the future.
