Default Rock Hill SC area longboarders.

Hey I just moved to Rock Hill. Are there any longboarders in the area? I've been riding fo a while now, and I need some new spots. I goof off at Cherry Park and at a new sub-division and apartment complex near there, but I haven't found any spots o get real excited about. I'm equipped for any size hill, I like to cruise as well as bomb, and 'm etting into slides and stuff like that. My name is Jamie 803-209-2759

Come on I know I'm not the only longboarder in Rock Hill. There's got to be someone in the area down to bomb some hills.

Yo, I live in charlotte, really gotta look for spots around here, its pretty flat in our area. I know some spots about 20 minutes outside of rock hill and charlotte. I started going to asheville to bomb.

What's the name of the area and the names of some of the roads? I go to the mountains sometimes too, but you don't have to go all the way to asheville. I have a couple of mellow spots around here. By the way, cuzz, that road you put me on was a good run but the pavement was crap. Thanks anway though, I hit it, it just about shook my fillings out.

Try Spencer Mtn. Rd, its right outside of charlotte, you'll need a chase car probably. There is traffic out there. There is a couple of dank spots in Kings Mountain out by my parents place, about 45 minutes outside charlotte. I am at work right now, So i will try to get some more locations for you later. shoot me a pm if you want to ride this weekend, weather is supposed to be nice.

Yo if its nice this weekend me and a friend found a pretty cool little hill if youd like to join. I took a pretty gnarly fall so did not skate a couple of weeks ago. But I can hit you up if the weather doesn't kill the weekend.

I'd like that. I have my seven year old this weekend, but he can come with me. I'll find a little parking lot on the way back for him to shred. It depends on what day, it's tax time at the skateshop I do part-time at, but if it's at all possible I'll join you guys. Is it a good spot for night skating? If so, or if you know of a good place, then I can definitely swing it. I got a Landy Evo, a Comet FSM, and a FibreFlex pintail with Revenges, so that's my quiver, besides my cruisers and sh t, if there's any of those you been wanting to try. The FSM is pretty fun. Guy I met yesterday seemed pretty cool, he might not know how to find this thread, but his last name was Reese if you hear from him try to get him involved. My number is 803-209-2759.

A crew is what I've been needing. It's hard to get anything done all by yourself, and having some friends to skate with helps everyone advance. Just bear with me, it's hectic around the house with two kids and an old lady lol. But we'll get it together eventually.

Word. Well we shall see what the weather has in store. Found some pretty cool spots not too far from you that are lit at night and descent to ride, super smooth roads though.

I'm looking out the window at what the weather had in store. What a big dam bummer. Even the indoor park up the street from my house was closed. I'm off Monday, Thursday, and Friday this week. I may end up working one of those days at my parttime, but if one of those days is good for yal and the weather is nice I'm down to skate.

I'm going ot in a little bit and hit some spots up the road. 803-209-2759 is my number if you can get out for a minute. Do you know if Grizzly hangars work with Randal baseplates? Oh, and I got some Reflex bushings on the way. Let me know if you ever need any stuff, and I'll see if our distributor carries it and I can hook you up with a discount off the msrp.

I have Grizzlies on mine too. I just went with some Khiro red barrels in it. I like them a lot better than the pumpkins they came with. It really livened up the board. I wonder if the Grizzly hangers work with Randall baseplates. I was thinking about putting some 40degree baseplates on the Evo.
