Any riders in the Charlotte area??

Anyone in the Charlotte area that knows of any cool spots or just wants to cruise around or somethin? I live near stonecrest shopping center if that helps.

I live near stonecrest too, but have been disappointed by most places I try to ride around here... I stay in Raleigh most of the time though so it's no big deal haha.

Where have you gone to ride? I've tried the greenway and it is horrible since most of it isn't even paved and there's tons of people on a pretty narrow path. All I have found is random neighborhood hills and they're all really short...

Nice board! I have an Original custom 35 (Selling the deck) and have a loaded dervish in the mail right now. And yes, The greenway is very sucky for skating! I also haven't found anything good except neighborhoods and stuff. But once I find some good stuff I'll PM you!

I just moved to Rock Hill SC. It's not far from Charlotte, and I'm slowly building spots. I haven't found any killer hills, but there's tons of paved paths around Cherry Park, all the different sports complexes, and there are some neighborhoods with good pavement.

Not much as far as big hills in Charlotte. Not too sure about parking garages. Gotta head to the mountains for the gnar...

Yep, Asheville is where i started going, but parking garages are descent, careful though, there is a spiral near the bobcats stadium, cpcc parking garage is nice for sliding and cruizing.

i have a friend who goes to uncc and he likes to find more people to skate with. he also has some other people he skates with who go there. ill let him know about this thread
