Who has ever been to Surf City NC.???

i live in MA, Im in the Coast Guard and after my active duity im planing on moving to Surf City NC, (i hate cold) and i was wonding if anyone has ever skated there or if skating is even legal in that town. Since longboarding is a huge part of my life I dont wanna move anywhere where my biggest inanimate passion is frowned upon (or illegal).

That part of NC is pretty flat.I'm not sure how long it would take to get to or close enough to the mountains though? I've been there a few times for a family reunion.It does get good waves for surf and a few okay spots for skim'n,but that's about it.

is longboarding leagal there tho?? that u know of.

Well,I brought a LB w/me both trips '04 and '09 I sk8'd up and down the main road on the island/beach for miles in both directions and didn't have any problems or anything w/the law.
