Hey I've seen alot of post here lately about where to get LongBoards and LB gear,Big wheels and such.in and around central Fl.Gulf Coast Skate Shop is the only place I know of in the area the specializes in LB's,Oldschool,pool,and other hard to find goods.Of course they also have a huge selection of popsicle/newschool boards and gear.I do know they just got in a Big LB oreder in today of all diff/brands.And a Big Landyahctz order is come'n in next week[I can't wait]They have two locations Dunieden/Pinellas pk.727-412-8084 I hope this helps.Dread

it depends on where you're at and what kind of riding you're looking for. Brooksville has a good amount of downhill. Talk to PapaDread, he's the sherpa to the brooksville mountains. Clermont is a about an hour to hour and half east of brooksville but has some equally awesome spots. If you're looking for somewhere to cruise, check the pinellas trail or even clearwater beach... like I said, it depends on where you're at if you wanna travel far, and what kind of riding you're looking to do.. do some reading around here and you'll discover some places to ride and meet some great people to ride with

Where are some good longboard spots?

I really like the Ream Wilson Trail. Its a 9 mile round trip from the Safety Harbor Pier to the Long Center. It's a really fun ride with some fun hills. (1 has a 10% grade)

I also like riding Countryside Blvd. at 1:30AM its freshly paved and is a great place to practice board walking or dancing

Clermont session tomorrow...lets make it big. Meeting up near home Depot around 9-9:30 maybe beat the weather and if it goes crappy later make it a rain session.
