was finally down their last weekend ,not to skate but visiting someone in the area.
i had no clue it was even there,when we drove by i said to the wife wait pull in this park a guy online posted about it.
so we drove through and i saw those signs..big bummer man.

Bad news about vista.

I heard from one of the maintenance workers there that a few months ago some kids came in, bombed one of the hills and wiped out at the bottom. Had to be carted off by the paramedics. Its crap like that that ruins it for everyone else. I'v laid it out there pretty good before, but I picked myself up and got on with it, you know. Know you limits, wear a lid, and take some self responsibility I say.

Yeah it is a bummer about Vista. Chris and I were talking about going to Piccolo skatepark, I know Bobby we spoke of it too. So we'll see when we can get something together. I think they're now charging admission for Vista anyway.

yeah, we where talking to the vista office and there is basically no way around it. not even if you rent a pavilion, safety gear, back hills ect.

What time did you go man? My last ride at the garages (2nd to last ride before dislocating shoulder) I ended up having to run from the cops. Was with 3 other friends. This group of 5-6 guys joined us. First skate down as I was going up the stairs to ride again (elevator full) I see like 3-4 guys jump in and exit the 2nd floor. I start running out of instinct, but next thing you know I'm in a 30-40 minute ordeal escaping FIU cops (like 5-7 squad cars riding around searching) to the opposite side of campus where my car was parked.

Exciting and all but I don't wanna go through it again. I was wondering if they're doing garage checks nightly now, if not I'd go back as soon as I heal up from surgery.

I went at 4 and was there until 6;30 today....
