Fun little sesh. Back hill had some grass clippings on it but was still fine for sliding. We got to introduce Monkey to back run on the other hill. Good times. After the monkey left Drew and I went back and hit the back hill a couple of times. Super nice today with a SSE wind in our face. Anyway, when are we going to get some of the regular riders back???? I like small sessions and all but I miss having 15-20 people out there. Oh well.

Right before our last runs, the park workers drove up the hill as we were walking. There was two of them in the truck and the driver said to us "You know, you guys aren't supposed to be back here, but we didn't see anything." LOL...Also the gas station food was good. Steve you really missed out.

Doubly glad I didn't leave my Gatorade then. I'm not sure why I brought it along, or what I thought I was going to do with it at the top. Did I expect there to be a garbage can on the illegal side? Did I think I would want to carry it in a gloved (or non-gloved) hand? Like I said, not much aforethought...

I'll come along to the gas station next time with a little different plan regarding lunch delivery.

Ok, it's tuesday. Time to start recruiting for saturday. I know Drew and Monkey are in. Vinh? been a while man. BDbrigade? what happened to you. I realize there are a lot of people away for school and stuff so you're excused. Steve, we haven't seen you and LB out there in a while. Anyway the seed has been planted if anyone is interested.

There's never a 100% guarantee! As for me I have a lot to do around my house Saturday, but I'll try to make it out even for an hour or 2.

I know there can never truly be a 100% guarantee, but the vibe is so much better when a group of us are present.
I'm thinking of a saturday afternoon session at the omni garage in downtown. A buddy of mine is leaving Miami for good on sat, so friday night is definitly going to be a RAGER! Doubt I will be up for anything on Sat. morning.

We've been doing small sunday sessions as well. Last week got rained out. Usually it's just Drew and I but it's still a good time. I kind of like the small sessions becuase I'm not afraid of looking like a complete kook trying to slide or going to fast and having to bail. We have a good time though.

Whats up guys,

Sorry for not reading 53 pages if I ask an already answered question.

I just got a PM about the SFL weekend skate trips. Im out of town this weekend and next weekend I got company starting saturday afternoon. Any weeknight trips coming up? otherwise I'd be down to ride next saturday morning and any weekend from there on out.

BTW, Im pretty new to this so im not good but I found out that you dont have to look good riding a longboard and people will still ask you a ton of questions about.

I'll keep an eye on this thread, hopefully I'll get to meet some of you soon.

We usually hit Vista View park in Davie on Saturday mornings. Sometimes we have 2 or 3 people show up. Sometimes we have 10 or 15. It depends on whether people are in town, hungover, committed to family events, or just plain lazy and uninterested.

Weeknight forays have been a little less predictable. I'll be able to commit to a regular night at the FIU garages next week once I know what my schedule is going to be like this semester.

Where are you located?

Digital, that was me who PM'd ya. As for now we ride every saturday. We don't discriminate. If you haven't PM'd me back then go ahead and do it and I'll shoot you my cell #.
You don't have to worry about being new to it either. Very laid back guys and everyone does their best to help each other out. These hills have the capacity to scare the #### out of you though. hehe
