I love that this is a community where you can feel old and young at the same time, and still fit in. What's up bro, I don't know any longboarders in Winston Salem, but in Statesville there are a whole gang of cool fothermuckers called the Downhillbillies, it's maybe downhillbillies.org They are trying to get the world cup of slalom here next year. They are really nice and all shred. If you are near the piedmont, you should give them a buzz (I should give them a buzz, then I won't have to skate alone all the time and continue to suck ) If you are in or around Winston Salem, give me a PM, I am into downhill carving and taking indecent liberties with minis LOL. Actually, I suck at skating and never know what I'm talking about...

I'm in the Charlotte area. Went to the Boone/Linville area last weekend for the Blue Ridge Free Ride and hit some serious hills. I'd love to go back again soon so anybody who wants to go, let's do it!

The DHB will be hosting a jam some time later this winter....not just slalom but downhill, sliding, longboard cruising....etc. I will post up when we have more details.

Also, we will be doing some slalom sessions and Hobby Park......bring your big boards there too. Contact me via pm if you want to come ride sometime.

I don't know of any ditches in the Charlotte area. If there are I would love to find them.

sup dudes, im in apex nc which is in between Raleigh and cary. im a pretty basic skater so if anyone wants to do some hills or slalom hit me up. i also have a nice neighborhood called scotts mill with loads of big hills
