I haven't quite made it there, yet, Carl......but judging by the park layout,,,,,it could well be the BEST place for a park slalom / cross country event.
It's big enough.
Kona has some overall size....but it's kind of broken up in in zones.
Just planting a seed.

My PPS Ditch Killer board would love both places.
The Tally park has some good flow to it. I used a 36" PM Big Bugger
out there, setup with indies and Bullet wheels. I loved that it was open
at night with lights. I could visit w/family and then hit the park after dinner!

I don't know what a PM board is.
Doesn't matter.
I have a 36" custom Subsonic park board mixed in with the rest of the quiver.
A decent board, no doubt, but I had Scott build it up heavy.
So it's not real quick, but it sure is.....top end fast.
Keith lives in Gainesville.
We need to take a trip or two.

Reason: typo / add on
I should be in Tally during Christmas. Maybe Thanksgiving ... hmmm, I
should know this stuff.
[[Kebbek makes the PM Big Bugger deck,
heavy duty [and heavy] 36" park board.]]
Sounds a lot like my Subsonic 36" beast.
Scott also made my high tech park slalom board, and is in the process of making a real speedboard.
Keep me posted on Tally....and Kona.
Both are worth driving for.
So is Oviedo and OSP!

I wish I was closer to Tally.
Especially.....the sk8park.
Best hills in the state????
Gainesville, Beverly Hills, Brooksville,Tallahassee, and CLERMONT/Lake Wales.
Im not much of a skate park kind but always up for something new. I moved here from Kansas a few years ago, was about 6-7 hours from Talimena Drive/winding stair national forest in Oklahoma. Mild winters were easy on the roads, fairly low traffic being in the middle of nowhere, and some seriously winding killer grades. Im planning some scouting around the area soon heading into the Lake Talquin area to see some roads next chance I get. Went to AJ Hendry park yesterday a nice 1/2 mile twisty down hill.
I'm new in Tallahassee, just started FSU this week. Man, there's so many more longboarders here than where I come from. Most of them are S9 boards but I've seen a Dervish, an Evo, and some Gravitys.
